Contract: Fixed Term - Part Time

Hours: 15 Hours per Week - Thursdays and Fridays

Salary: Up to £43,635 FTE (subject to a September pay review) depending on experience

Start Date: September 2026

About the Role

As a Teacher of Business Studies, you will deliver high-quality teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4, empowering students to achieve strong academic outcomes while developing a solid understanding of business concepts and real-world economic issues. You will play a vital role in curriculum development, support student progress, and uphold our commitment to excellence, inclusion, and safeguarding.

What You Will Be Doing

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Business Studies up to GCSE level, delivering engaging and relevant lessons.
  • Plan and deliver high-quality learning aligned with departmental schemes of work.
  • Set ambitious targets and provide clear, constructive feedback.
  • Maintain accurate assessment records and contribute to departmental tracking.
  • Inspire pupils to develop commercial awareness, critical thinking, and enterprise skills.
  • Contribute to curriculum development and departmental improvement.
  • Support the wider school community through extracurricular activities, such as enterprise clubs, competitions, or trips.
  • Comply with all school policies, including those related to teaching, learning, and assessment.
