Salary: Up to £53,000 (including OTE), based on skills and experience.
Working Hours:
Enjoy a great work-life balance with our schedule:
- Monday–Thursday: 08:00 – 16:45
- Friday: 08:00 – 15:45 (early finish!)
Your Role:
As a Lift Service Engineer, you’ll be the go-to expert for lifts in Bury St Edmunds and the surrounding areas. You’ll manage your own patch, ensuring lifts are serviced, faults are diagnosed, and everything runs smoothly and safely. Plus, you’ll have the support of a local team whenever you need it!
Your Patch Includes:
- Covering Bury St Edmunds and nearby areas
- A structured route—no random national travel!
- A mix of commercial, residential, and public sites
- Mostly staying within your allocated area
Key Responsibilities:
- Performing servicing, repairs, and routine maintenance
- Responding to breakdowns and callouts
- Diagnosing faults and getting lifts back in action
- Ensuring sites are safe and compliant
- Completing site logs and basic paperwork
Qualifications:
Lift Engineer Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering (or equivalent)
- Experience as a lift engineer (service/repair)
- Full UK driving licence
