Lift Repair Engineer Job in Cambridge at Stannah - Join Our Team!

Position: Lift Repair Engineer

Type: Full-Time | Permanent

Salary: Up to £54,000 (including OTE) based on skills and experience

Additional Compensation: Overtime, call-out, and standby pay

Working Hours:

Monday–Thursday: 08:00 – 16:45
Friday: 08:00 – 15:45 (early finish)

Are you ready to take your career to the next level? We’re on the lookout for a dedicated Lift Repair Engineer to cover Cambridge and the surrounding areas. This is a hands-on role where you’ll focus on repairs, fault finding, and ensuring lifts run reliably.

Your Local Patch:

  • Covering Cambridge and nearby areas
  • Structured local patch with no unnecessary long-distance travel
  • A mix of commercial, residential, and public sites

Your Responsibilities:

  • Carry out repairs and fault finding on lifts
  • Diagnose electrical and mechanical issues
  • Replace and upgrade components as needed
  • Attend breakdowns and support call-outs
  • Get lifts back into service safely and efficiently
  • Complete site paperwork and maintain accurate records

Qualifications:

Lift Repair Engineer Requirements:

  • An NVQ level 3 in Lift Engineering or equivalent
  • Proven experience as a Lift Engineer with minor repairs
  • A valid UK driving licence
