Your New Role
We are excited to invite a Junior Cloud Technology Engineer to our dynamic Technology team at Filmbankmedia. As a leader in non-theatrical film distribution, we represent major Hollywood, Bollywood, and independent film studios across more than 80 international territories.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone at the start of their technology career, eager to gain exposure to a wide range of technologies, including:

In this role, you will work closely with the Head of Technology Solutions & Security, supporting:
- Business-critical systems
- Cloud infrastructure
- Internal users
- Customer-facing applications

Your Role Accountabilities
As a Junior Cloud Technology Engineer, you will:
- Provide technical support to internal users, managing user lifecycle activities and account administration.
- Support and monitor cloud-based applications and services, troubleshoot technical issues, and assist with application updates.
- Deliver first-line support for digital streaming platforms, investigate customer issues, and monitor platform availability.
- Assist with routine data validation, quality checks, and data-related investigations.
- Utilize simple scripts and database queries to automate routine tasks and investigate issues.
- Follow cybersecurity and content protection procedures while maintaining technical documentation.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and gradually take on more responsibilities as you grow.

Qualifications & Experience
We’re looking for candidates who have:
- Previous experience in a technical role with hands-on coding experience.
- Familiarity with React and/or Next.js, JavaScript or TypeScript, REST APIs, and modern web technologies.
- Knowledge of AWS services and source control tools like Git.
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles and content protection concepts.
- Exposure to data migration or database projects, and experience supporting SaaS, cloud, media, or streaming platforms.
Working Conditions
This role is offered as a Hybrid work model, combining remote and in-office work, in line with our company policy and your Line Manager's agreement. Please note that this arrangement may change based on business needs.
