About Mount House School
At Mount House School, we pride ourselves on being a small, nurturing co-educational day school with a vibrant community. With a maximum of sixty students per year group, we ensure that every child is known, cherished, and challenged, allowing them to thrive both academically and in co-curricular activities.
Set in a stunning Georgian house opposite Hadley Common, our school combines the tranquility of the countryside with easy access to London’s cultural offerings. Since 1940, education has been at the heart of our mission, and since becoming fully co-educational in 2022, we have continued to foster a community that values individuality, creativity, and academic ambition.
Our ethos emphasizes exceptional pastoral care and a belief that “small is beautiful.” Here, relationships are strong, support is personalized, and every student is empowered to reach their full potential. Our vision is simple yet profound: Be You. Belong. Become. This is underpinned by our core values of authenticity, confidence, community, compassion, aspiration, and growth.
