Location: Huddersfield Grammar School - Yorkshire

Contract: Fixed Term - Part Time

Hours: 15 Hours per Week - Thursdays and Fridays

Salary: Up to £43,635 FTE (subject to a September pay review) depending on experience

Start Date: September 2026

What You Will Be Doing

As a Teacher of Business Studies, you will:

  • Deliver engaging lessons up to GCSE level, inspiring students to grasp business concepts and real-world economic issues.
  • Plan and execute high-quality learning experiences aligned with departmental schemes of work.
  • Set ambitious targets and provide constructive feedback to guide student progress.
  • Maintain accurate assessment records and contribute to departmental tracking.
  • Encourage pupils to develop critical thinking, commercial awareness, and enterprise skills.
  • Contribute to curriculum development and departmental improvement initiatives.
  • Support the wider school community through extracurricular activities, such as enterprise clubs and competitions.
  • Comply with all school policies related to teaching, learning, and assessment.

What You'll Bring

  • Qualified teacher status and a Good Honours Degree.
  • A passion for Business Studies and a strong knowledge of the subject.
