Salary: Up to £53,000 (including OTE), based on skills and experience

Working Hours

Enjoy a great work-life balance with our hours:

  • Monday–Thursday: 08:00 – 16:45
  • Friday: 08:00 – 15:45 (early finish!)

Your Role

We’re on the lookout for a dedicated Lift Service Engineer to cover a route across Bury St Edmunds and its surrounding areas. You’ll be responsible for:

  • Servicing lifts and ensuring they run smoothly
  • Fault finding and troubleshooting
  • Keeping everything safe and compliant
  • Enjoying the support of a local team when needed

Your Patch

Here’s what your area will look like:

  • Covering Bury St Edmunds and nearby locations
  • A structured route—no random national travel!
  • A mix of commercial, residential, and public sites
  • Mostly staying within your allocated area

Key Responsibilities

  • Performing servicing, repairs, and routine maintenance
  • Responding to breakdowns and callouts
  • Diagnosing faults and getting lifts back in action
  • Maintaining safety and compliance on all sites
  • Completing site logs and necessary paperwork

Qualifications

Lift Engineer Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering (or equivalent)
  • Experience in lift engineering (service/repair)
  • Full UK driving licence
