In this pivotal role, you’ll lead a team of skilled Lift Engineers and subcontractors, guiding them to meet our Majors Repairs Plan objectives across all makes and models of lifts. This is more than just a job; it’s an opportunity to shape, motivate, and develop your team while ensuring they deliver exceptional service that aligns with our core values and adheres to the highest Health & Safety standards.

Based at our Mansfield Service Branch, you’ll enjoy regular travel across the region. A full UK driving licence is essential for this role.

Working Hours

Monday to Thursday, with a flexible Friday schedule.

Your Responsibilities as a Field Repair Manager

  • Efficiently plan engineer workloads and allocate repair tasks.
  • Maintain a diverse portfolio of projects.
  • Manage team performance, absence, and appraisals.
  • Ensure compliance with all Health and Safety procedures, conducting risk assessments and method statements.
  • Carry out regular site monitoring to ensure quality standards.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, addressing any queries and complaints promptly.

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience in the lift industry or a similar service sector is essential.
  • Relevant management qualifications are desirable.
  • Qualified to a minimum NVQ level 3 in Lift Engineering.
