Your New Role

We are excited to announce that Filmbankmedia, a leader in non-theatrical film distribution, is looking for a Junior Cloud Technology Engineer to join our dynamic Technology team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone at the start of their technology career who is eager to gain exposure to a wide range of technologies, including:

• AWS cloud services

In this role, you will work closely with the Head of Technology Solutions & Security, supporting business-critical systems, cloud infrastructure, internal users, and customer-facing applications. This position offers significant opportunities for learning and professional development across various domains.

Your Role Accountabilities

As a Junior Cloud Technology Engineer, you will:

• Provide technical support to internal users, assisting with user lifecycle activities, account administration, and business applications.
• Support and monitor cloud-based applications and services, investigate technical issues, and assist with application updates and system changes.
• Deliver first-line support for digital streaming platforms, investigate customer issues, monitor platform availability, and escalate incidents as needed.
• Assist with routine data validation, data quality, imports, exports, and data-related investigations.
• Utilize simple scripts, database queries, and technical tools to investigate issues and automate routine tasks.
• Follow established cybersecurity and content protection procedures while maintaining technical documentation and support materials.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and gradually take on greater responsibilities as your skills develop.

Qualifications & Experience

We’re looking for candidates who have:

• Previous experience in a technical role with hands-on coding experience.
• Familiarity with React and/or Next.js, JavaScript or TypeScript, REST APIs, and modern web technologies.
• Knowledge of AWS services and source control tools like Git.
• Understanding of cybersecurity principles, security best practices, and content protection concepts.
• Exposure to data migration or database projects, and experience supporting SaaS, cloud, media, or streaming platforms.

Working Conditions

This role is offered as a Hybrid work model, combining remote and in-office work, in line with our company policy and as agreed with your Line Manager. Please note that this arrangement may be adjusted based on business needs.
