The Role
As an Assistant Gym Manager, you will play a vital role in enhancing member experience and developing your team. Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering an exceptional member experience by maintaining high service standards alongside the Gym Manager
- Supporting the Gym Manager in attracting new members through outreach and community events
- Leading your team: recruiting, developing talent, and fostering a motivating work environment
- Providing ongoing training and professional development opportunities for fitness staff
- Managing and improving the Group Exercise (GEX) offerings within the gym
You will be instrumental in creating a vibrant workplace and workout environment for both your team and gym members. Your leadership will ensure high-quality service delivery and contribute to the growth and retention of our membership base.

- A Level 2 qualification in gym instructing, along with experience in teaching group exercise
