About the Role

Are you ready to take the lead in shaping our pre-contract strategies? As a Pre-Contract Manager, you will spearhead a dynamic team of Offsite Integration Managers and Estimators. Your mission? To ensure our bids are not only competitive but also meticulously crafted to align with OSM's business objectives, maximizing our win rates and profitability.

This is a permanent position with NG Bailey, and you can work from any of our UK locations, with some travel required across the UK.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Health & Safety Leadership: Champion a safety-first culture across all manufacturing activities.
  • Strategic Sales Planning: Define and lead our commercial strategy, ensuring bids are robust and aligned with sustainable growth.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain senior-level client relationships, leading executive governance meetings.
  • Customer Engagement: Drive high-value account growth through regular site visits and proactive issue resolution.
  • Quality Assurance: Oversee quality frameworks to ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory standards.
  • Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with Operations Management to exceed client expectations and industry standards.
  • Business Development: Own the strategy for client engagement and market expansion.
  • Team Development: Equip and coach operational leaders to deliver impactful presentations.
  • Risk Management: Identify and govern technical, commercial, and operational risks with proactive mitigation strategies.
  • Performance Reporting: Develop advanced reporting to provide strategic insights for decision-making.
  • Compliance Framework: Ensure adherence to key gateways and corporate controls throughout project delivery.

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong experience in a work-winning or sales environment, particularly in bids and pricing.
  • Experience leading a team (desirable).
  • Background in MEP or building services/construction and DFMA experience (desirable).
