About the Role

Are you ready to make a significant impact? At NG Bailey, our Engineering team has just completed a cutting-edge building for the University of Bristol, and we’re gearing up to mobilize our Facilities Services team to keep it running smoothly. We’re on the lookout for a proactive Contract Supervisor who will champion health, safety, and compliance from day one!

This is an exciting opportunity to shape a new contract from the ground up. You’ll collaborate closely with the Compliance Manager and our operational team to ensure that our high standards are met and maintained every day.

Your Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Support the Compliance Manager in fostering a "Safety First and Foremost" culture throughout the contract.
  • Be a visible, hands-on presence on site, providing practical advice to engineers and operational staff.
  • Build strong relationships with clients and site stakeholders, promoting collaboration and best practices.
  • Conduct routine site inspections, audits, and compliance checks against NG Bailey and client standards.
  • Assist in incident and near-miss investigations, identifying root causes and tracking corrective actions.
  • Help prepare health and safety reports and documentation for operational meetings and client forums.
  • Coordinate toolbox talks and safety briefings for the site team.

What We’re Looking For

We seek an engaging, safety-conscious professional who thrives on being a visible presence on site and enjoys building relationships. You will bring:

  • Proven electrical and mechanical experience in a critical environment.
  • Expertise in both commercial and domestic systems, with the ability to perform PPMs according to SFG20 or equivalent standards.
  • Advanced fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
  • Relevant electrical or mechanical qualifications (City & Guilds or equivalent).
  • HVAP knowledge is desirable; LVAP experience is a plus.
  • Experience supervising reactive repairs and managing small projects.
