Hours: 25 Hours per Week

Salary: £15,652 Per Annum

Location: Meoncross School

Contract: Term-Time plus 2 weeks / Part Time

About the Role

As the Head's Personal Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient management of the Head's daily activities. Your proactive support will help the Head navigate a busy and dynamic schedule, coordinating diaries, correspondence, meetings, and events.

In this role, you will:

  • Manage multiple email inboxes, prioritizing communications and ensuring timely responses.
  • Maintain the Single Central Register and oversee all safeguarding and compliance documentation.
  • Provide confidential HR administrative support, assisting with recruitment and personnel records.

Your exceptional organizational skills and sound judgment will be key in anticipating the Head's needs, ensuring they are always prepared for their commitments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive executive support to the Head, including diary management and meeting coordination.
  • Act as the first point of contact for the Head, building positive relationships with parents, staff, and external stakeholders.
  • Prepare and coordinate documentation, reports, and meeting papers.
  • Organize school events led by the Head, such as Speech Night and Open Mornings.
  • Maintain the school’s Single Central Register, ensuring compliance with safeguarding requirements.
  • Support recruitment and HR administration, including interview coordination and onboarding.
  • Assist with safeguarding audits, ensuring records are accurate and readily available.
  • Provide admissions administration support during periods of absence.
  • Ensure all administrative processes are efficient and compliant with GDPR and school policies.
  • Maintain confidentiality and high standards of customer service at all times.

About You

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in an Executive Assistant, PA, or senior administrative role.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Experience coordinating meetings and events.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Desirable

  • Experience within a school or educational setting.
  • Knowledge of admissions, HR administration, or recruitment processes.
  • Experience maintaining compliance records, including the Single Central Register.
  • Familiarity with iSAMS, SIMS, or similar school management systems.
  • Understanding of safeguarding and safer recruitment requirements.
