Are you passionate about nurturing young minds? Brimpton House Day Nursery and Pre-school is on the lookout for a dedicated and enthusiastic Room Leader to inspire creativity and excellence every day!

Location: 59 High Street, Kelvedon, CO5 9AE

Position: Room Leader

Hours: Full Time - 40 Hours Per Week

Salary: £29,244

Your Role

As our Room Leader in the toddler room (ages 1-2 years), you will:

  • Collaborate closely with other rooms to ensure smooth transitions for children.
  • Create stimulating and purposeful experiences tailored to each child's age and development stage.
  • Enhance children's physical, intellectual, social, and emotional growth.
  • Lead by example, promoting respect and credibility within the team.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure the safety and wellbeing of every child, staff member, and visitor.
  • Ensure compliance with the statutory framework for the EYFS.

What We’re Looking For

To thrive in this role, you should have:

  • Essential: Full and relevant Level 3 in Childcare qualification.
  • Essential: Over 1 year’s experience working in Early Years.
  • Desirable: Over 6 months’ experience in a senior position.
  • Desirable: Sound knowledge of Ofsted expectations for achieving a Good or Outstanding rating.
  • Essential: Knowledge of the statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements.
  • Essential: Fluency in written and spoken English.

Working Conditions

Our nursery operates from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, and we require flexibility to work varied shift patterns within these hours.
