Your Role as a Nursery Practitioner

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in shaping the lives of our children. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Meeting each child’s individual needs while providing a high standard of care and education in a safe and nurturing environment.
  • Observing, assessing, and planning engaging early years activities that cater to each child's unique learning and development.
  • Collaborating with your team, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to learn new skills.
  • Ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures, regularly reviewing and applying them.
  • Diligently following risk assessments and reporting any health and safety matters to management.
  • Supporting the holistic development of children, including their physical, intellectual, social, and emotional growth.

What You’ll Need

To thrive in this role, you should have:

  • Full and relevant Level 2 childcare qualification: Essential
  • Fluency in written and spoken English: Essential
  • Over 1 year’s experience in Early Years: Desirable
  • Knowledge of the Statutory Framework for the EYFS: Desirable
