Your New Role

Join us at Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden as an Electrician and play a vital role in maintaining our world-class facilities. Collaborating with our Facilities team, you’ll be hands-on with the maintenance and installation of electrical systems that support the productions bringing blockbuster films and TV shows to life. No two days will be the same! From electrical projects and fault-finding to broader site maintenance tasks, you’ll enjoy a varied role with opportunities to expand your skills across the wider facilities function. While primarily based at our Leavesden studio, you’ll also have the chance to support projects at other locations as needed.

Your Role Accountabilities

  • Monitor task completion, ensuring the highest standards of work.
  • Ensure health and safety compliance, including proper PPE usage.
  • Maintain the site's electrical and mechanical equipment for continuous operation and legal compliance.
  • Set approved conduct levels for work methodology within the team.
  • Operate and maintain mechanical and electrical systems via the BMS.
  • Carry out small installation works and modifications to existing systems.
  • Conduct fault finding and ensure satisfactory fault rectification.
  • Undertake general maintenance tasks and survey inspections, including areas at height.
  • Audit and review stock levels, reporting any required orders to the Senior Electrician.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to health and safety legislation and best practices.

Qualifications & Experiences

  • Fully qualified ‘Approved Electrician’ with AM2 and City & Guilds 236-2 or equivalent.
  • BS 7671 Edition Electrical Wiring Regulations Accreditation.
  • Awareness of Electricity Supply Regulations.
  • Understanding of the Electricity at Work Act.
  • JIB/ECS card.
  • 2391 inspecting and testing certification is advantageous.
  • Must hold a full UK driving licence.

Working Pattern

This role is based on a 40-hour working week, with flexibility required to support the operational needs of both the Studio and Studio Tour. You will be expected to work a rota that includes evenings, weekends, and some Bank Holidays. Additionally, there will be an on-call element, requiring you to respond to emergency situations both during and outside of normal working hours when necessary.

Onsite Working - This role is advertised as onsite, meaning all working hours and days will be carried out at the place of work. Subject to applicable laws, WBD reserves the right to change this working agreement as necessary for business needs, with reasonable notice.
