Location: Huddersfield Grammar School - Yorkshire

Contract: Fixed Term - Part Time

Hours: 15 Hours per Week - Thursdays and Fridays

Salary: Up to £43,635 FTE (subject to a September pay review) based on experience

Start Date: September 2026

Your Role

We are excited to invite an experienced Teacher of Business Studies to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will deliver high-quality teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping students achieve outstanding academic outcomes while developing a solid understanding of business concepts and real-world economic issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging Business Studies lessons up to GCSE level.
  • Plan and implement high-quality learning experiences aligned with departmental objectives.
  • Set ambitious targets and provide constructive feedback to students.
  • Maintain accurate assessment records and contribute to departmental tracking.
  • Inspire students to cultivate commercial awareness, critical thinking, and enterprise skills.
  • Contribute to curriculum development and departmental improvements.
  • Support the school community through extracurricular activities, such as enterprise clubs and competitions.
  • Adhere to all school policies related to teaching, learning, and assessment.
