Position: Part-Time Supervising Social Worker
Base Location: Doncaster
Hours: 21 hours per week (3 days)
Salary: Up to £22,800 per annum (£38,000 FTE)
Covering Area: Midlands and South Yorkshire, with a standard caseload typically within an hour's drive of Doncaster. Flexibility may be required for team collaboration.

Your Role
As a Supervising Social Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting Foster Parents and ensuring the best outcomes for children in our care. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing direct support to Foster Parents with a manageable caseload for effective supervision.
- Conducting regular supervision sessions to monitor practices and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborating with children, young people, Foster Parents, and other professionals to facilitate meaningful participation in assessments and decision-making.
What We’re Looking For
We seek a qualified and experienced social worker who is passionate about making a difference. Here’s what you need to bring:
- A recognised professional qualification in social work and current Social Work England registration.
- Previous experience in children and families social work.
- A solid understanding of relevant legislation and procedures related to children's services and fostering.
- Strong IT skills and the ability to work flexibly.
- A full driving licence, confidence in driving, and access to a vehicle.
