At Small People Nursery, we are on the lookout for a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our dedicated childcare team. Your role will be crucial in maintaining a safe, clean, and inviting space where children can learn and play.

This position is perfect for someone who takes pride in high standards of cleanliness and enjoys being part of a supportive team. You will be responsible for ensuring that all nursery areas are kept to an exceptionally high standard.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out daily cleaning across the nursery, including classrooms, bathrooms, corridors, and staff areas.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness in line with nursery hygiene procedures.
• Clean toilets, sinks, and changing areas, disposing of waste appropriately.
• Replenish cleaning supplies and report low stock to management.
• Follow health and safety procedures, including the safe use of cleaning products.
• Ensure the nursery is safe, hygienic, and prepared for the following day.
• Lock and secure the premises as part of key holder responsibilities.

• Reliability, organization, and the ability to work independently.
• Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience is desirable but not essential.
