Your Role as a Nursery Cleaner
As a Nursery Cleaner, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for our children. Your responsibilities will include:
- Keeping communal areas, including toilets, clean and tidy to uphold professional standards.
- Performing cleaning tasks such as washing, dusting, polishing, vacuuming, and sweeping.
- Ensuring health and safety standards are met, adhering to organizational policies and safeguarding practices.
- Understanding and following COSHH datasheets for cleaning materials.
- Storing cleaning materials and supplies in line with health and safety guidelines.
- Collaborating with the Nursery Manager to ensure timely ordering of cleaning supplies.
- Taking on additional cleaning duties as directed by the Nursery Manager.
What We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you should have:
- Previous cleaning experience: Essential
- Fluency in written and spoken English: Essential
- Understanding of Health and Safety regulations and COSHH: Desirable
- Awareness of safeguarding and site security: Desirable
