Your Role

We are seeking a passionate and motivated Dual Residential Registered Manager to lead and manage two solo children's homes in the Poole area. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Deputy Manager ready to step up or an existing Registered Manager looking for a new challenge!

Your Responsibilities

As the Dual Residential Registered Manager, you will:

• Lead and develop two high-quality children's residential homes, ensuring positive outcomes for young people.
• Foster partnerships with young people, their families, colleagues, and external agencies to meet individual needs.
• Implement organizational strategies and objectives to support Budwood's continued success.
• Promote team development and effective collaboration across both homes.
• Maximize staff effectiveness through motivation, coaching, and adherence to Budwood policies.
• Set and monitor performance standards, driving continuous improvement.
• Oversee operational management, ensuring safe and efficient service delivery.
• Manage staff teams, providing supervision, performance reviews, and support.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and organizational policies.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with Ofsted, local authorities, and other stakeholders.

Are You the Right Fit?

We’re looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:

• Hold a Level 5 qualification in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare, or be willing to work towards it.
• Experience as a Registered Manager or relevant management experience with readiness to progress through Ofsted registration.
• A strong understanding of the Children's Homes Regulations 2015 and experience delivering against Quality Standards.
• Experience supporting children and young people with emotional and behavioral needs.
• Hold a full UK driving license and have access to a vehicle for travel.
