Located in Edmonton, North London, Priory Hospital Enfield provides acute and secure services for adult females. Our facilities include two medium secure wards, one low secure ward, and one acute ward, where we deliver specialized mental health care to those who need it most.

Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will be instrumental in delivering high-quality occupational therapy services. You’ll collaborate closely with the Lead Occupational Therapist and the wider clinical team to provide person-centered care.

• Assist the Lead Occupational Therapist in coordinating and delivering individualized treatment programs.
• Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments to identify patient needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Facilitate both individual and group interventions, supporting patients throughout their rehabilitation journey.
• Maintain accurate clinical records, monitoring progress and adapting interventions as necessary.
• Take ownership of a defined clinical area, contributing to service development and quality improvement.
• Provide supervision and mentorship to junior colleagues and students, enhancing your leadership skills.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to achieve positive patient outcomes.

What You Bring to the Table

• HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.
• A Diploma, Degree, Honours Degree, or Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Membership of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists (RCOT).
• At least three years of post-qualification experience in mental health services.
• Experience in conducting occupational therapy assessments and delivering evidence-based interventions.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Critical thinking and the ability to reflect on clinical practice.
• A proactive approach to learning and personal development.
