As a Ward Manager in Mental Health Nursing, you’ll play a vital role in our Eating Disorder Unit. With a competitive salary of up to £50,329 (depending on experience) and a full-time commitment of 37.5 hours, this is your chance to make a real difference in people's lives.

Located conveniently with easy access from Glasgow city centre and local train stations, Priory Hospital Glasgow is a specialist inpatient treatment centre dedicated to supporting individuals with mental health conditions and addictions. We provide a range of services, including depression treatment, alcohol and drug rehabilitation, and private autism assessments for adults.

What You'll Be Doing

As part of our compassionate team, you will:

  • Provide clinical leadership and oversee the daily operations of our Eating Disorder Unit.
  • Lead and support a dedicated nursing team, ensuring high standards of patient care.
  • Manage staffing, compliance, and promote a positive, safe, and compassionate environment for both patients and colleagues.

What You'll Bring to the Role

Essential Qualifications:

  • Experienced Mental Health Nurse with at least two years of leadership experience.
  • Proven experience supervising nursing or care staff.
  • Evidence of continuing professional development (CPD).
  • Trained Assessor/Supervisor (or willingness to achieve this).
  • Computer literate and willing to undertake further training in clinical, leadership, and management.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a clinical environment.
