Join our dedicated team at Priory Hospital Mildmay Oaks, where we specialize in autism and learning disabilities. We are currently seeking a Qualified Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with 6-12 months of post-registration experience. This full-time position offers a competitive salary of £36,296 - £39,511 for a 37.5-hour work week.

Located in the serene setting of Hook, our hospital is easily accessible via excellent public transport links, including rail and bus services. Enjoy the tranquility of a rural environment while being just 5 minutes from the M3 and close to the A30.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a vital member of our compassionate team, you will play a key role in supporting the wellbeing of our patients. We take a personalized approach, utilizing proven therapies to help individuals build a healthier, more fulfilling future.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering prescribed care to a defined group of patients within an agreed framework.
  • Assessing, planning, and providing person-centered nursing care in partnership with patients and their families/carers.
  • Monitoring and reviewing care plans, responding to changes in patient conditions.
  • Contributing to multidisciplinary team efforts and participating in clinical and non-clinical meetings.
  • Managing nursing priorities through effective delegation and shift coordination.
  • Maintaining professional standards through ongoing development and adherence to the NMC Code of Conduct.
  • Building positive relationships with patients, colleagues, and visitors.
  • Supporting newly qualified staff through preceptorship.

What You’ll Bring to the Role

Essential Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 6 months post-registration experience in a Mental Health or Learning Disabilities Care Environment.
  • Evidence of continued professional development in the relevant field.
