Location: Priory Hospital Bristol

Salary: £39,392 to £41,953

Hours: Full Time, 37.5 hours per week

Priory Hospital Bristol is excited to announce an opportunity for a Senior Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our brand-new mixed acute ward. What You’ll Be Doing

As a vital member of our compassionate team, you will:

  • Provide high-quality, person-centred nursing care by assessing, planning, delivering, and regularly reviewing care plans in partnership with patients, families, and carers.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team and external professionals, ensuring effective communication and accurate documentation.
  • Take charge as Nurse in Charge, Bed Manager, or Site Coordinator when required, prioritizing and delegating duties while maintaining a safe environment.
  • Support and supervise junior, agency, and student nurses, contributing to clinical governance and quality improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with safeguarding procedures, the Mental Capacity Act, and the NMC Code, while promoting positive outcomes for patients.

What You’ll Bring to the Role

Essential Qualifications:

  • Qualified Registered Adult Nurse with 6-12 months post-registration experience.
  • Active NMC Registration and completion of preceptorship or equivalent program.

Beneficial Experience:

  • Minimum 6-12 months post-registration experience within Mental Health/Learning Disability Nursing.
  • Evidence of continued professional development in the relevant field.
