Location: Priory Hospital Dewsbury, Earlsheaton, West Yorkshire

Position: Full-time | 37.5 hours per week | Site-based

Salary: £40,040 per year

Note: This role is not suitable for newly qualified nurses or preceptorship nurses.

At Priory Hospital Dewsbury, we are dedicated to providing exceptional rehabilitation services for male patients with mental health disorders. Our facility offers a supportive environment for those requiring neuropsychiatry support, care for older individuals, and community-focused rehabilitation. While we are not a 24/7 acute hospital, we excel in providing care for patients transitioning from acute settings.

Your Role

As our Deputy Ward Manager, you will be an integral part of our team, working closely with the Ward Manager and multidisciplinary staff to:

  • Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the ward.
  • Drive high standards of clinical care and promote a positive patient experience.
  • Support the development of a motivated and skilled workforce.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and passionate nurse to enhance their leadership skills and make a meaningful impact on the lives of our patients.

What You'll Bring

We are looking for someone who is resilient and empathetic, ready to face the challenges of this rewarding role. Your qualifications should include:

  • Active Registration with the Nursing Midwifery Council (RMN qualified).
  • Trained Assessor/Supervisor.
  • Clinical Supervision experience (essential), with training being desirable.
  • Evidence of Continued Professional Development and a commitment to ongoing learning.
  • Good computer skills.
