About Us

Priory Hospital Enfield specializes in acute and secure services for adult females, providing essential mental health care to those who need it most. With two medium secure wards, one low secure ward, and one acute ward, we focus on delivering personalized, evidence-based therapies to support our patients on their recovery journey.

Your Role

As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will:

  • Collaborate with the Lead Occupational Therapist and clinical team to deliver high-quality, person-centred care.
  • Coordinate and implement individual treatment programs, ensuring they are effective and tailored to each patient’s needs.
  • Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and develop customized treatment plans.
  • Facilitate both individual and group interventions, guiding patients through their rehabilitation and recovery.
  • Maintain accurate clinical records, monitor progress, and adapt interventions as necessary.
  • Take ownership of a defined clinical area, contributing to service development and quality improvement.
  • Provide supervision and mentorship to junior colleagues and students, enhancing your leadership skills.
  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to achieve positive patient outcomes.

What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for someone who is resilient, empathetic, and committed to delivering outstanding patient care. Your qualifications should include:

  • HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.
  • A Diploma, Degree, Honours Degree, or Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Membership of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists (RCOT).
  • At least three years of post-qualification experience in mental health services.
  • Experience in conducting assessments and delivering evidence-based interventions.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • The ability to think critically and reflect on clinical practice.
  • A proactive approach to learning and personal development.
