Your Impact
This is an incredible opportunity to manage the commercial resources of exciting construction projects in the Waterbeach area. You’ll play a key role in maximizing project profitability through strategic contract management, all while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver outstanding results.
What Will You Be Responsible For?
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you’ll support our Construction team in delivering major regional projects across various sectors, including education, health, and defense. Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Managing commercial resources to maximize planned gross margin and project profitability
- Appointing subcontractors and placing orders for materials and equipment
- Measuring and valuing work to support invoicing and supplier payments
- Leading and motivating the project’s commercial staff to foster collaborative relationships
- Assessing, controlling, and mitigating commercial and contractual risks while implementing risk management policies

- You have excellent communication skills and experience working with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and supply chains
- You possess strong organizational skills and can prioritize effectively
- You thrive in a collaborative team environment while also being able to take initiative
- You are proficient in a range of IT packages, including Microsoft Office and bespoke systems
