Are you ready to take your career to the next level? We’re on the lookout for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic Water Framework team in the beautiful Horton-Cum-Studley, Oxfordshire.

Location & Hours

Location: Horton-Cum-Studley, Oxfordshire
Hours: 45 hours per week (some flexibility available—just let us know during our chat!)

Your Role

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be an integral part of our commercial team, driving the success of our exciting Water Framework project. Your expertise will be crucial in managing the commercial aspects during the construction phase, ensuring we deliver outstanding results while collaborating with our talented team.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Ensure compliance with procurement strategies, managing subcontract inquiries and tender reviews.
  • Oversee valuations, project cashflows, and turnover forecasts, providing monthly cost reports.
  • Offer legal and contractual advice on orders, changes, and subcontractor administration.
  • Drive commercial initiatives and develop margin improvement plans to maximize opportunities.
  • Lead and mentor junior staff, ensuring workload targets and deadlines are met.

What We’re Looking For

This role is perfect for you if you:

  • Hold a relevant academic qualification in a construction-related degree.
  • Possess a full driving license.
  • Have prior experience in a commercial role for a contractor, ideally with MEP exposure.
  • Are familiar with various contract forms.
  • Thrive in a collaborative team environment.
