Are you ready to take your career to the next level? We’re on the lookout for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to become a vital part of our Water Framework team based in Horton-Cum-Studley, Oxfordshire.

Location & Hours

Location: Horton-Cum-Studley, Oxfordshire
Hours: 45 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

Your Role

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you’ll be an integral part of our commercial team, working on an exciting Water Framework project. Your expertise will help ensure successful delivery during the construction phase while collaborating with a dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Ensure compliance with procurement strategies, managing subcontract inquiries and tender reviews.
  • Oversee valuations, project cashflows, and turnover forecasts, providing monthly cost reports.
  • Offer legal and contractual advice on orders, changes, and subcontractor administration.
  • Drive commercial initiatives and create margin improvement plans to maximize opportunities.
  • Lead and support junior staff, ensuring workload targets and deadlines are met.

What We’re Looking For

This role is perfect for you if you:

  • Hold a relevant academic qualification in a construction-related degree.
  • Possess a full driving license.
  • Have prior experience in a commercial role for a contractor, ideally with MEP exposure.
  • Are familiar with a variety of contract forms.
  • Thrive in a collaborative team environment.
