Lift Engineer
Join Our Team as a Lift Engineer in Essex!
Company: Stannah | Position: Full-Time | Type: Permanent
Salary: Up to £71,000 (including OTE), based on skills and experience.
Your Working Hours:
Enjoy a structured work schedule:
- Monday to Thursday: Leave home at 7:15 AM, return by 5:30 PM
- Friday: Leave home at 7:15 AM, return by 4:30 PM
Your Role:
We are on the lookout for a dedicated Lift Service Engineer to cover a route across Essex and surrounding areas. You’ll be responsible for:
- Servicing lifts and ensuring they run safely and efficiently
- Fault finding and troubleshooting to keep lifts operational
- Receiving support from a local team when needed
Your Patch:
- Covering Essex and nearby areas
- Structured route—no random national travel!
- A mix of commercial, residential, and public sites
- Mostly staying within your allocated area
Key Responsibilities:
- Performing servicing, repairs, and routine maintenance
- Responding to breakdowns and callouts
- Conducting fault finding to get lifts back up and running
- Ensuring sites are safe and compliant
- Completing site logs and basic paperwork
What We’re Looking For:
If you have a strong background in lift engineering, we want to hear from you! Here are the qualifications we require:
- NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering (or equivalent)
- Experience as a lift engineer (service/repair)
- Full UK driving licence
