At Horizon House, we provide bespoke treatment for a variety of addictions, all within a calm and homely setting. Our mission is to create a safe haven where individuals can focus on their recovery, away from the stresses of daily life. As part of our extensive network of residential addiction treatment homes across the UK, you’ll be instrumental in delivering a unique, non-medical approach to therapy.

Your Role and Responsibilities

As a key member of our compassionate team, you will play a vital role in enhancing the wellbeing of our patients. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and supporting a diverse team of therapy professionals, including psychologists and other specialists.
  • Facilitating regular management supervision in line with Priory policy, ensuring a collaborative environment.
  • Managing a balanced schedule of patient-facing clinical hours while taking on line management responsibilities.
  • Providing guidance on clinical issues, including risk management and complex patient needs, in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.

What You Bring to the Table

We’re looking for someone who embodies resilience and empathy. The ideal candidate will:

  • Be a registered healthcare professional with HCPC or an accredited psychotherapist with BACP, BABCP, or UKCP.
  • Have substantial experience in addiction services and a deep understanding of therapeutic roles in mental health settings.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership skills to guide a diverse therapy team.
  • Exhibit excellent interpersonal and decision-making abilities, especially in high-pressure situations.
  • Possess experience in a commercial environment, with an awareness of cost management and adaptability to evolving needs.
