Description

Join Our Team at Priory Eden House!
We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Therapy Lead to become a vital part of our compassionate team. This is a full-time position, requiring 37.5 hours per week.

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of those struggling with addiction?
We are looking for a candidate with experience in addictions work and a proven track record in leading and managing a therapy team. If you meet these essential criteria, we want to hear from you!

Eden House is the flagship service in our new Division of Residential Addictions, branded under “Flourish.” We are proud to offer the first Priory therapy-led residential program designed to help individuals achieve meaningful, sustainable recovery from addiction and related behaviors.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Therapy Lead, you will play a crucial role in our residents' recovery journey. You will work alongside a dedicated team, utilizing proven therapies to empower individuals to build healthier, more fulfilling futures. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and supporting a diverse range of therapy staff, including psychology, therapy, occupational therapy, and assistants.
  • Facilitating regular management supervision in line with Priory policy, using a cascade system with other qualified therapists.
  • Managing a reduced level of patient-facing clinical hours to focus on line management responsibilities.
  • Being available for clinical issues, such as managing risk and responding to complex patient needs, while collaborating with a wider multidisciplinary team.

What You'll Bring to the Role

Our work is rewarding yet challenging, so resilience is key. Your natural empathy will help you support others through both the highs and lows of their recovery journey.

The ideal candidate will be a registered healthcare professional (HCPC) or an accredited psychotherapist (BACP, BABCP, UKCP) with:

  • Strong leadership skills to guide a diverse therapy team.
  • A solid understanding of therapy roles in mental health.
  • Experience in management supervision and the ability to remain calm in challenging situations.
  • Experience in a commercial setting with cost management awareness and flexibility to adapt to changing business needs.

What We Will Give You in Return

At Priory, we want you to succeed and thrive in your role. You will receive robust support through regular career conversations and opportunities for professional growth. We offer:

  • Free on-site parking.
  • A contributory pension scheme.
  • Flexible benefits, including reduced rates for gym memberships, IT technology (laptops, tablets, smartphones), and a Healthcare Cash Plan (Simply Health Scheme).
  • Access to development opportunities.
  • Sponsorship for professional qualifications through our Individual Professional Development (IPD) panel.
  • Leadership and management development programs.
  • A long service award.
  • Refer-a-friend bonuses.

Shortlisting may begin upon receipt of applications, and the Recruiting Manager may close the vacancy early if enough suitable candidates are identified.
