Your Responsibilities
As our Nursery Housekeeper, you will play a key role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene throughout the nursery. Your responsibilities will include:
- Cleaning and maintaining playrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and communal areas
- Sweeping, mopping, dusting, sanitising surfaces, and emptying bins
- Cleaning and disinfecting children's bathrooms, nappy changing areas, and high-touch surfaces
- Supporting laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and organising nursery linen
- Assisting with washing up and maintaining cleanliness in kitchen areas
- Using cleaning products and equipment safely and appropriately
- Monitoring cleaning stock levels and reporting replenishment needs
- Following Health & Safety, COSHH, infection control, and safeguarding procedures
- Supporting periodic deep cleaning tasks as required
- Collaborating closely with the nursery team to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all
What We're Looking For

Desirable:
- Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience
- Knowledge of safe cleaning practices and COSHH procedures
- Experience working in a nursery, school, healthcare, or similar environment
