Are you ready to take your career to the next level? We’re on the lookout for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic Thames Water Framework team at Mogden STW, Twickenham. This is your chance to make a significant impact on a major Water Treatment Works upgrade project!

Location & Hours

Location: Mogden STW, Twickenham
Hours: 45 hours per week (some flexibility available)

Your Role

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in the commercial management of our projects. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual to enhance their leadership skills, maximize commercial performance, and advance their career within a supportive, high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Lead the commercial management of project sections, subcontract packages, and supplier accounts from procurement to final account settlement.
• Prepare and manage valuations, applications for payment, monthly cost forecasts, and cashflow reports.
• Identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities, ensuring effective mitigation strategies are in place.
• Oversee change control processes, ensuring variations and contractual entitlements are agreed promptly.
• Mentor and develop junior team members, promoting high standards of commercial management and professional growth.

What We’re Looking For

This role is perfect for you if:

• You hold a degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Commercial Management, or a related field.
• You have commercial experience in the construction or infrastructure sector, ideally with MEICA exposure.
• You are self-motivated and ambitious, with a genuine desire to learn and progress your career.
• You possess strong communication and relationship-building skills, confidently engaging with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• You hold a full driving license.
