Are you ready to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals on their recovery journey? Priory Hospital Dewsbury is seeking a passionate and experienced Deputy Ward Manager to join our dedicated team on the Jubilee Ward. This is a full-time position, offering 37.5 hours per week with a competitive salary of £40,040 per year.

Located in the charming residential area of Earlsheaton, West Yorkshire, our hospital provides level 2 rehabilitation services for male patients with mental health disorders. We also offer neuropsychiatry support, care for older individuals, and community-focused rehabilitation.

While we are not a 24/7 acute hospital, we provide essential support to acute patients within our dementia services, ensuring they receive the care they need in a safe and therapeutic environment.

Your Role and Responsibilities

As the Deputy Ward Manager, you will play a pivotal role in:

  • Supporting the effective leadership and daily management of the ward.
  • Collaborating with the Ward Manager and multidisciplinary team to drive high standards of clinical care.
  • Promoting a positive patient experience and empowering individuals to achieve their full potential.
  • Developing a motivated and skilled workforce.

What We’re Looking For

  • Active Registration with the Nursing Midwifery Council, meeting the requirements of Revalidation (RMN qualified).
  • Trained Assessor/Supervisor.
  • Clinical Supervision experience is essential; training is desirable.
  • Evidence of Continued Professional Development and a commitment to ongoing growth.
  • Good computer skills.
