Position: Senior Registered Mental Health Nurse
Salary: £39,392 to £41,953
Hours: Full Time, 37.5 hours per week

Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Senior Registered Mental Health Nurse, you will be an integral part of a compassionate team dedicated to enhancing the wellbeing of our patients. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering high-quality, person-centred nursing care by assessing, planning, and regularly reviewing care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and carers.
  • Working closely with the multidisciplinary team and external professionals, ensuring effective communication and accurate documentation of patient wellbeing and incidents.
  • Taking charge as Nurse in Charge, Bed Manager, or Site Coordinator when needed, prioritizing and delegating duties to maintain a safe environment.
  • Supporting and supervising junior, agency, and student nurses while contributing to clinical governance and quality improvement.
  • Ensuring compliance with safeguarding procedures, the Mental Capacity Act, and company policies, while promoting positive outcomes for patients.

What You Bring to the Role

Essential Qualifications:

  • Qualified Registered Adult Nurse with 6-12 months of post-registration experience and active NMC Registration.

Beneficial Experience:

  • Minimum 6-12 months of post-registration experience in Mental Health or Learning Disability Nursing, with evidence of continued professional development.
