Position: Principal Psychologist

Hours: Part Time | 22.5 hours | Site-based

Salary: £34,950 - £40,950

Registration: HCPC registration required

At Priory Hospital Kemple View, we are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated HCPC registered Principal Psychologist to join our dynamic team. Our 90-bedded hospital specializes in providing level 2 rehabilitation and secure services for adult males facing mental health challenges and/or personality disorders. Conveniently located near public transport, we recommend having access to a vehicle for ease of travel.

Your Role: What You'll Be Doing

As a Principal Psychologist, you will be at the forefront of delivering and enhancing our psychology services. Your expertise will ensure that our patients receive high-quality, individualized psychological care, working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the psychology provision for a designated ward or group of patients, in collaboration with the Head of Psychology.
  • Conducting comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations to tailor care to each patient's unique needs.
  • Delivering evidence-based psychological interventions, both individually and in groups, aligned with patients' care pathways.

What You’ll Bring to the Role

Essential Qualifications:

  • HCPC registration is a must.
  • A strong foundation in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and at least two additional therapeutic modalities relevant to our patient population.
  • Experience working with complex clients and delivering high-level interventions tailored to their needs.
  • Formal training in clinical supervision and proven leadership capabilities.
