Location: Priory Hospital Roehampton, Roehampton, London
Salary: £39,140.00 to £45,320 FTE depending on experience
Hours: Part-time - 30 hours per week

At Priory Hospital Roehampton, we are dedicated to providing exceptional mental health and addiction rehabilitation services. We are currently seeking a compassionate and experienced CAMHS Therapist to join our dynamic team. Please note, due to the needs of the young people we support, this role is open to female candidates only, as per the Genuine Occupational Requirement under the Equality Act 2010.

Your Role and Responsibilities

As a CAMHS Therapist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, person-centred therapeutic support. Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, you will:

  • Conduct initial assessments and create tailored therapy plans for each client.
  • Provide one-to-one and group therapy, utilizing effective interventions to foster wellbeing and recovery.
  • Manage your own caseload, tracking progress and maintaining accurate clinical records.
  • Collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary team, families, and carers to ensure coordinated, person-centred care.

What You Bring to the Table

Essential Qualifications:

  • Qualified CBT Therapist with BABCP-approved postgraduate training (Level 1 or Level 2) and BABCP accreditation.
  • Post-qualification experience delivering CBT in mental health settings, including inpatient and/or outpatient services.
  • For those not yet accredited, registration with BABCP and a commitment to achieving accreditation within 12 months is required.

Accreditation: Candidates must hold accreditation with a relevant professional body. If accredited with the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS), Senior Accreditation is required. We may consider applicants working towards accreditation, provided it can be completed within 12 months of appointment.
