Location: Roehampton, London
Salary: £39,140.00 to £45,320 FTE (depending on experience)
Hours: Part-time, 30 hours per week
At Priory Hospital Roehampton, we are dedicated to providing exceptional mental health and addiction rehabilitation services. We are currently seeking a compassionate and experienced CAMHS Therapist to join our dynamic team. This role is essential to our mission of supporting young people, and due to the specific needs of those we care for, we are only accepting applications from female candidates.
Your Role and Responsibilities
As a CAMHS Therapist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, person-centred therapeutic support. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting initial assessments and developing tailored therapy plans based on individual client needs.
- Delivering one-to-one and group therapy sessions, utilizing appropriate interventions to foster wellbeing and recovery.
- Managing an allocated caseload, monitoring client progress, and maintaining accurate clinical records.
- Collaborating closely with the multidisciplinary team, families, and carers to ensure coordinated, person-centred care.
What You Bring to the Role
To thrive in this position, you should possess the following qualifications:
- Qualified CBT Therapist with BABCP-approved postgraduate training (Level 1 or Level 2) and BABCP accreditation.
- Post-qualification experience delivering CBT in mental health settings, including inpatient and/or outpatient services.
- If not yet accredited, you must be registered with BABCP and actively working towards accreditation, with the ability to submit your application within 12 months.
