At Priory Hospital Cheadle, we are seeking a passionate and skilled Consultant Psychologist to join our dedicated team. This is a full-time position (37.5 hours) based on-site, offering a competitive salary of £68,250. Your HCPC registration is essential for this role.
About Us
Located in Stockport, Priory Hospital Cheadle Royal is an inpatient mental health service that provides care for both young people and adults. We are easily accessible via public transport, with local bus routes and railway stations just a short distance away.
Your Role
As a Consultant Psychologist, you will:
- Collaborate closely with the Head of Psychology to shape the strategic direction of our services.
- Ensure excellence in patient experience and outcomes through high-quality psychological practice.
- Contribute to service audits and support the development of psychological interventions.
- Provide informed guidance to reduce risks and promote recovery and independence.
- Consult with senior management and engage in clinical and research governance initiatives.
What You’ll Bring
We are looking for candidates who possess:
- A relevant Master’s degree and HCPC registration.
- A strong foundation in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and proficiency in at least two other therapeutic modalities.
- Experience working with complex clients and delivering specialized interventions.
- Leadership and management experience, with skills in service planning and development.
- Training in clinical supervision and experience in conducting relevant assessments.
