The Role
As a Nursery Third in Charge, you’ll play a vital role in helping children learn, play, and grow in a safe and engaging environment. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the nursery leadership team by leading through positive role modeling and maintaining high standards
- Guiding and developing staff through coaching, supervision, and team collaboration
- Building strong partnerships with parents and carers through effective communication and support
- Helping maintain staffing ratios and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the nursery
About You
You’re compassionate, reliable, and committed to making a difference every day.
Essential:
- Level 3 childcare qualification
- Confident written and spoken English
Desirable:
- Experience in an Early Years setting
- Knowledge of EYFS and safeguarding best practices
