Position: CAMHS Therapist
Salary: £39,140.00 to £45,320 FTE (depending on experience)
Hours: Part-time - 30 hours per week

At Priory Hospital Roehampton, we are excited to offer an opportunity for a dedicated CAMHS Therapist to join our compassionate team. Our hospital is a specialist mental health and addiction rehabilitation service located in Roehampton, London, easily accessible by public transport.

Your Role: What You'll Be Doing

As a CAMHS Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, person-centred therapeutic support. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, you will:

• Conduct initial assessments and create tailored therapy plans for each client.
• Deliver one-to-one and group therapy sessions, utilizing effective interventions to foster wellbeing and recovery.
• Manage your own caseload, tracking progress and maintaining accurate clinical records.
• Work closely with families, carers, and the multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated, person-centred care.

What You Bring: Requirements and Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:

• Qualified CBT Therapist with BABCP-approved postgraduate training (Level 1 or Level 2) and BABCP accreditation.
• Post-qualification experience delivering CBT in mental health settings (inpatient and/or outpatient).
• If not yet accredited, must be registered with BABCP and actively working towards accreditation, with the ability to submit your application within 12 months.

Accreditation: Candidates must have accreditation with a relevant professional body. If accredited with the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS), Senior Accreditation is required. We may consider applicants working towards accreditation, provided it can be completed within 12 months of appointment.
