Your Role and Responsibilities
In this pivotal role, you will:
- Lead and develop the DBT program at Priory Hospital Roehampton, ensuring high-quality, evidence-based clinical practice.
- Provide clinical leadership, supervision, and support to the DBT team, collaborating closely with the wider multidisciplinary team.
- Deliver and oversee DBT interventions, including individual therapy and skills-based group work.
- Support the assessment, formulation, treatment planning, and risk management of patients with complex mental health needs.
- Monitor patient progress and outcomes, contributing to clinical reviews, governance, and service improvement.
- Help develop DBT-informed practice across the wider service through training, consultation, and collaborative working.
- Promote a compassionate, recovery-focused therapeutic environment where patients feel supported to build healthier lives.

Minimum Requirements for DBT Lead Therapist:
- Completion of Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) Foundation Training accredited by British Isles DBT Training.
- A sound understanding of DBT theory and practice, with the ability to apply this in a clinical setting.
- A primary background as either a CBT Therapist or an Integrative Therapist.
As a successful candidate, you will play a crucial role in delivering a highly specialized therapeutic service for individuals requiring DBT intervention. This leadership position involves guiding colleagues across various treatment modes and tracking client progress through outcome measures.
