Deputy Home Manager

Old Vicarage is on the lookout for a passionate Deputy Home Manager to become an integral part of our dedicated team. This is a full-time position, offering 40 hours a week at an hourly rate of £14.95 (equivalent to £31,096 per annum).
Located near Dewsbury town, Old Vicarage provides residential support for seven adults with diverse needs, including those with learning disabilities, mental health challenges, and autism spectrum conditions.
Your Role: Making a Difference
As a vital member of our compassionate team, you will be committed to enhancing the wellbeing of our residents. We take a personalized approach, utilizing proven therapies to empower individuals to build healthier, more fulfilling futures. Your contributions will be essential in their recovery journey, assisting qualified staff with:
- Conducting assessments and implementing individual care plans.
- Performing routine tasks and activities to promote wellbeing and dignity.
- Holding regular staff meetings to encourage open communication and feedback.
- Ensuring rigorous and timely completion of all risk assessments.
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and compliance with regulations.
- Inducting and orienting new staff to foster a supportive environment.

- Experience in a Deputy role within a similar environment.
- A natural leader who is approachable, supportive, and skilled at bringing out the best in others.

- Strong organizational skills and confidence in managing care-related tasks (risk assessments, audits, compliance).
- A genuine passion for delivering high-quality care that matters to residents and their families.
- A valid UK driving license for a minimum of 3 years is desirable.
