Welcome to Priory Hospital Roehampton! We are excited to invite a Lead DBT Therapist to join our dedicated team in a full-time role (37.5 hours per week). Here, we support individuals facing a variety of mental health challenges, offering specialized care for conditions such as depression, anxiety, and addictions.

What You’ll Be Doing
As a key member of our compassionate team, you will play an essential role in our patients' recovery journey. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and developing the DBT programme at Priory Hospital Roehampton, ensuring high-quality, evidence-based clinical practice.
- Providing clinical leadership, supervision, and support to the DBT team while collaborating closely with the wider multidisciplinary team.
- Delivering and overseeing DBT interventions, including individual therapy and skills-based group work.
- Supporting the assessment, formulation, treatment planning, and risk management of patients with complex mental health needs.
- Monitoring patient progress and outcomes, contributing to clinical reviews, governance, and service improvement.
- Helping to develop DBT-informed practice across the wider service through training, consultation, and collaborative working.
- Promoting a compassionate, recovery-focused therapeutic environment where patients feel supported in building healthier lives.

Minimum Requirements for DBT Lead Therapist:
- Completion of Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) Foundation Training accredited by British Isles DBT Training.
- A sound understanding of DBT theory and practice, with the ability to apply this within a clinical setting.
- A primary background as either a CBT Therapist or an Integrative Therapist.
As a successful candidate, you will play a pivotal role in delivering a highly specialist therapeutic service for individuals requiring DBT intervention. This position involves significant leadership responsibilities, including:
- Supporting the ongoing development and growth of the DBT service.
- Ensuring program fidelity and team adherence by guiding colleagues across various treatment modes.
- Tracking client progress through outcome measures and liaising with primary therapists for continuous service improvement.
