Deputy Home Manager
Join Our Team as a Deputy Home Manager!
At Old Vicarage, we are on the lookout for a passionate and dedicated Deputy Home Manager to join our compassionate team. This is a full-time role, offering 40 hours per week at an hourly rate of £14.95 (equivalent to £31,096 per annum).
Located near the vibrant town of Dewsbury, the Old Vicarage provides residential support for seven adults with diverse needs, including those with learning disabilities, mental health challenges, and autism spectrum conditions.
Your Role and Responsibilities
As a key member of our team, you will:
- Support our residents' well-being through personalized care and proven therapies.
- Assist qualified staff in assessing and implementing individual care plans.
- Conduct regular staff meetings to encourage open communication and feedback.
- Maintain positive relationships with commissioners and referrers to enhance service confidence.
- Ensure rigorous and timely completion of all risk assessments (clinical, COSHH, Legionella, etc.).
- Monitor cleanliness standards to comply with statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Induct and orient new staff, ensuring they receive necessary training for effective integration.

- Proven experience in a Deputy role.

- Strong organizational skills and confidence in managing care-related tasks (risk assessments, audits, compliance).
- A genuine passion for delivering high-quality care that matters to residents and their families.
- A full UK driving license for a minimum of 3 years is desirable.
