We are currently seeking a Part-Time Supervising Social Worker to join our dedicated team in Doncaster.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to Foster Parents within a manageable caseload, ensuring high levels of supervision.
• Conduct regular supervision sessions with allocated Foster Parents, monitoring their practice and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with children, young people, Foster Parents, and other professionals to facilitate meaningful participation in assessments, planning, and decision-making related to safeguarding and child protection.

Requirements

• Hold a recognized professional qualification in social work and current Social Work England registration.
• Have previous experience in children and families social work.
• Possess a comprehensive understanding of relevant legislation, guidance, and procedures related to children's services and fostering.
• Exhibit strong IT skills and be flexible regarding working patterns and travel.
• Hold a full driving license, be a confident driver, and have access to a vehicle.

Working Conditions

This role is part-time, requiring 21 hours per week (3 days), with a salary of up to £22,800 per annum (equivalent to £38,000 FTE). You will cover the Midlands and South Yorkshire area, typically within an hour's drive of Doncaster, with some flexibility required for team collaboration.
