Your Role

This is an incredible opportunity to manage the commercial resources of exciting construction projects in the Waterbeach area. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in maximizing project profitability through strategic contract management and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage commercial resources to maximize planned gross margin and project profitability.
• Appoint subcontractors and place orders for materials and plant within delegated authorities.
• Measure and value work to support invoicing of customers and payment to suppliers.
• Lead and motivate the project's commercial staff to foster collaborative relationships.
• Assess, control, and mitigate commercial and contractual risks while implementing risk management policies.

• You have excellent communication skills and experience working effectively across multidisciplinary teams, clients, and supply chains.
• You possess strong organizational skills and can prioritize tasks effectively.
• You thrive in a collaborative team environment but can also take the initiative when needed.
• You are proficient in a range of IT packages, including Microsoft Office and bespoke systems.
