Location & Working Conditions
Location: Maple Lodge STW, Rickmansworth – Enjoy the flexibility of remote working, with a requirement to be on-site at least 3 days a week.
Hours: Full-time with some flexibility on hours. Just let us know your preferences when we chat!

Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in our commercial team, ensuring excellent performance across this significant water infrastructure project. Your daily tasks will include:
- Supporting cost control and financial reporting, including preparing cost reports, measuring works, and assisting with monthly valuations.
- Managing subcontract activities from enquiry through to payment, maintaining accurate records, and supporting tender analysis.
- Assisting with change management by identifying, recording, and valuing variations with supporting documentation.
- Contributing to commercial reporting and maintaining clear, organized records in line with governance requirements.
- Collaborating with engineering, operations, and planning teams to ensure accurate information gathering and successful package delivery.
What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for you if you:
- Have experience as an Assistant QS or QS in civil engineering, utilities, construction, or infrastructure projects.
- Possess strong numerical skills with excellent attention to detail and good organizational abilities.
- Have some experience in subcontract procurement, valuations, and cost reporting.
- Understand construction contract principles and are proficient in MS Excel and commercial tools.
- Have strong communication skills and enjoy working collaboratively with diverse teams.
